By Nature

The image subjects of this By Nature Gallery were created by nature, by natural processes. A good example of this is the image captioned “Frost on my Window,” which is simply water vapor escaping from a poorly sealed window and condensing and forming elaborate ice crystals on the glass in sub-freezing weather.  Rather a simple process, compared to waterfalls and rainbows, but nonetheless all created “by nature.”  Another example is “Sand Patterns” created at the beach when a receding tide causes sculpting water to drain out of the saturated beach sand and flow to the low tide mark, sculpting the sand on its way.  For more “Frost on my Windows” and “Patterns in the Sand” images please click on “Mediums” in the bar above, and then on the “Books, Etc.” tab.
