During winter months, wondrous art appears as if by magic on my old farmhouse windows. Frost, in the form of exquisitely shaped ice crystals, grows on my windows at night, and then reflects, refracts and diffracts the natural light coming in from outside, creating artful compositions of form, space, texture and color. This ephemeral crystalline artwork continues to evolve in the cold morning air, and then dramatically melts away in the sunlight! I have spent four winters documenting the artfulness of frost growth on my windows, and the 32 images for sale on the following two pages are a small sample of the many thousands that I have captured.
